The management trainee programme at the fenaco-LANDI Group is aimed at young talents. You’ll get to know the world of fenaco and LANDI inside out while acquiring the skills you need to become a future manager within Switzerland’s most diverse agricultural enterprise.
On the fenaco management trainee programme, you’ll gain extensive knowledge of the agro, retail trade, energy, accounting and controlling sides of the business. You’ll also learn how to successfully apply the management tools used at fenaco. The aim is to help you grow personally and professionally so that you’re ready to take up a management position within the fenaco-LANDI Group after successfully completing the programme.
Management trainee programme in detail
You’ll undertake a variety of placements across different business units over almost two years as a way of getting to know the fenaco-LANDI Group. The programme will be tailored to your experience.

What you offer
The fenaco management trainee programme is aimed at young talents with a proven practical track record in agriculture and relevant further training. To take part you’ll need:
- a CET qualification in agriculture (for example, Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education as an Agro-Commercial Specialist or Agriculturalist, a BSc in Agricultural Science, or an equivalent qualification with proven practical relevance to agriculture)
- clear motivation to assume a management role
- a willingness and flexibility to rotate between placements at various fenaco companies, divisions and regions
- the ability to work independently, plus confidence and assertiveness
- a flair for and interest in finance and business management
- good knowledge of German and French
- a driving licence (category B)
